DevoCenter Changemakers are enthusiastic, connected their causes, and dedicated to learning that uplifts and prepares young people for success. These dedicated leaders care about love, learning and leadership in our neighborhoods, and they are challenging us to think differently about the ways that we live, work and serve our communities.

Aynda Kanyama-Jackson | Atlanta, GA

No Stones Movement nurtures the mental, physical, spiritual and creative journey of young people in Atlanta. The organization provides holistic learning through academics, after school enrichment and volunteerism.

NSM empowers teens and young adults by helping them expand their mind, enhance their spirits, strengthen their bodies and embrace their culture so that they can demonstrate the best versions of themselves.

Aynda is from Atlanta Georgia, she is a lifelong activist, and she is committed to providing an Afrikan-centered education to her students and the liberation of Afrikan people worldwide.


Catisha Toney | Gary IN

Coates Inc provides educational opportunities and direct student support so that underserved youth in Gary and Northwest Indiana can attain college and career success.

The nonprofit organizes community service opportunities, produces college and career events, work with administrative leaders to develop, customize and deliver college and career readiness curriculum, and they walk students and their caregivers through the college admissions and applications processes.

Catisha is from Gary Indiana, she has many years of experience as a school counselor and instructional designer, and is committed to educational equity and creating opportunities for all to excel.


Erika Perry | Birmingham, AL

Youth Talk United gives adolescents an opportunity to feel empowered, gain self-awareness, and express their thoughts and feelings in a positive way. Through youth sports, workshops, and volunteer opportunities we are encouraging Alabama’s future leaders.

The nonprofit offers a holistic, group-focused approach to equipping participants with the knowledge, resources, and support they need to overcome obstacles and flourish in life.

Erika is a Birmingham native with more than 10 years of professional experience implementing and overseeing high risk youth programs. She is a trained mental health specialist and motivational speaker focusing on self-awareness, resilience and empowering youth.
